This week our Production Manager Ali goes on maternity leave - we can't believe how quickly it's arrived!
This February will be two years since Ali started working with us at Enterprise Screen. Originally from Boston, Ali moved to Scotland in October 2013 (1 week before getting married- times were tight with the fiance visa restriction rules & restrictions).
Before that, she spent 5 years working in Television Production as a freelancer while based in NYC. Starting out as a Production Assistant, she worked on live events like the Tony Awards, Superbowl Halftime show and the CBS Thanksgiving Day parade. She's dipped her toes into every department of live events, gaining experience as a Script Assistant, Talent Coordinator, Catering Coordinator and finally Production Coordinator.
Taking over from Ali while she's on maternity leave is our amazing Production Coordinator Zara, who started with us in October!
Before Enterprise Screen, Zara worked in the competitions team at STV, creating engaging on-air content to make people enter giveaways. This involved watching A LOT of Emmerdale to be able to write questions on the show - hard life! One exciting past project was a gadget giveaway last Christmas, Merry Gizmos, and being able to phone up the lovely winner and give them the good news! Before this, she worked at a small PR company in Edinburgh, where she cut her teeth writing press releases and organising media events.
We're lucky to have such a diverse team of talent here at Enterprise Screen, bringing their weird and wonderful experiences to the table!
Good luck with everything Ali - and we'll see you in a year!
