Creative e-learning video

08JanCreative e-learning video

Over the past few months we have had a number of companies work with us to create video and e-learning products that help to develop a focus on health and safety, good practice and ongoing learning in the workplace. This has included delivering webinars and lectures within the health sector as well as case studies and toolbox talks within the construction and oil and gas industries.

There are many ways to engage your audience with video- it doesnt always have to be hammering home a message- you can entertain, intrigue and even provoke debate and discussion. With online learning growing fast, giving your presentations or e-learning modules some additional excitement is quick and easy with video.

Our current clients have experimented with a range of techniques to bring further interest from their audience. It is always good to work with our clients from the start- allowing us to listen to the objectives, understand the target audience and to come up with a good way to develop the video into products that will serve a variety of uses. This does not mean we complicate your delivery- we add as much as we can and where possible help to develop your learning products into something people will want to engage with and ultimately learn from.

A recent example is with construction and facilities management sector giant MITIE. They have developed a strategically important e-learning portal and of course, there is a huge emphasis on Health and Safety. Our video has brought several of their key speakers to the tool with video webinars and presentations. As we were involved in some of the planning for this tool we also included interviews with presenters and members of the live audience in order to introduce some further "peer-to-peer" experience and learning.

The work continues into 2014 and a short overview of the tool is available to watch below.

Samantha Hamilton, MITIE QHSE Advisor was delighted with their products:

"All of the team are extremely helpful at all times, nothing was any bother. They all knew exactly what we were looking for from our very vague outline!"

We are looking forward to creating more innovative and engaging e-learning products in the coming months. Contacts us to find out how we can help you to develop your e-learning and online video.
